Premier judged art show of the year. Features work in all media, including photography and computer generated pieces, and both two-dimensional and three-dimensional styles. The show promises to be an interesting and eclectic mix of the finest works of the region. The gallery opens at 10 a.m.

OCT 28-NOV 29: MAPPING EXHIBIT,
Batesville
A map exhibit featuring early Arkansas maps. The Yeatman collection of maps begins with an 1820 Arkansas map and continues through several decades. Other maps from various collections include landownership maps, Sanborne Insurance maps, survey maps, Civil War maps and more. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9 to 4:30, and Sundays from 1:30 to 4. Closed Mondays and holidays.
